Talk: “Current Challenges in Talent Attraction and Selection” with Mariana Pinheiro

The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) will host, on 16 October 2025, at 5:30 p.m., the lecture “Current Challenges in Talent Attraction and Selection”, presented by Mariana Pinheiro.

The session will take place in Room RALINF1, at Rua Augusta, 46 (Coimbra), as part of the curricular unit Attraction, Selection and Integration of People, from the undergraduate degrees in Human Resources Management and Entrepreneurship, coordinated by lecturer Sara Ramos.

This initiative aims to provide students with direct insight into professional practice in Human Resources, discussing the emerging challenges and strategies in recruitment and talent selection within competitive and globalised corporate environments.

Biographical Note:
Mariana Pinheiro holds a degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra and a Master’s in Human Resources Management from the Lisbon School of Economics and Management (ISEG). She currently works for the multinational company SRAM, where she is responsible for talent recruitment and selection, having previously worked as a Human Resources Management Technician at Tempos Brilhantes.
