Mariana Castro, Maria Luísa Costa and Joana Saes participated with the article 'The Unequal City', Professor Júlio Costa Pinto with the article 'Book cover design and illustration: a harmony of balance'.
The coordinator of the Communication Design course, Professor Maria Luísa Costa, presented the article and moderated the 'Communication Design' session.

EIMAD - International Research Meeting in Music, Arts and Design is a scientific conference, launched in 2011, dedicated to research in the areas of design, music and the arts, including transdisciplinary approaches, which takes place at the School of Applied Arts of the Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute.

This initiative reinforces the ISMT teaching staff's commitment to research and the dissemination of knowledge.
