ISMT students participate in the Blessing of the Folders ceremony

Instituto Superior Miguel Torga marked the conclusion of its finalists' academic journey at the traditional Blessing of the Folders, held at the Sé Nova in Coimbra.

Last Saturday, 13 June, ISMT students attended the traditional Blessing of the Folders (Benção das Pastas) ceremony, which took place at the Sé Nova in Coimbra. This event marks one of the most symbolic moments of the academic journey, signalling the transition from student life to professional life.

The ceremony was attended by Manuel Castelo Branco, President of the ISMT Board of Directors, and Dulce Simões, Vice-President of the ISMT Board of Directors. During the occasion, the institutional leaders followed this transitional moment and addressed words of congratulation to the finalists, underlining the commitment demonstrated by each one throughout their academic journeys. The participation of the board highlights the ongoing connection that the institution seeks to maintain with its graduates, fostering a network of contact and support that extends beyond the classroom environment.

Noting the significance of the event, the President of the ISMT Board of Directors pointed out that the occasion "reflects the end of a demanding stage and the beginning of new professional paths", being "the result of the work of our finalists". Manuel Castelo Branco also stressed that the institution accompanies the closing of this cycle with the conviction that the knowledge acquired will be applied with rigour and civic responsibility.
