The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) hosts, on 11 May 2026, two lectures aimed at students of the bachelor's degrees in Social Work and Entrepreneurship. The activities are part of the academic programme and seek to complement the contents covered in the respective curricular units.

At 13:00, in the Rua Gomes Freire Building (room 1), the lecture entitled "Critical intervention in Social Work: legacies of reconceptualisation" takes place. The session is led by lecturer Daniele da Silva Correia, a social worker trained at PUC São Paulo and in Public Health, who is currently completing her postdoctoral research in Social Work by the State University of Rio de Janeiro at ISMT. The initiative is organised by lecturer Sónia Ribeiro.

Later, at 17:30, students from the Case Analysis Seminar Curricular Unit welcome Susana Raquel Cunha Vicente for the session "From zero to brand: how to create a business in the companion animal sector". The founder of 4Life Animal Care and the to.bcustom brand shares her journey in creating solutions for animal welfare, including the development of her own laboratory and the launch of nutraceuticals, as well as her experience in the personalisation sector.
