Lecturer Célia Santos represented ISMT at the University of Salamanca, presenting three scientific papers on marketing, leadership, and sustainability.
The Miguel Torga Higher Institute (ISMT) took part in the XXXV Luso-Spanish Conference on Scientific Management (JLEGC), held from 21st to 24th January 2026, at the University of Salamanca, Spain. The event, themed "Management Challenges in the Second Quarter of the Century", brought together researchers and professionals in the field of management sciences to discuss global industry transformations.
The institution was represented by Célia Santos, an ISMT lecturer and Scientific Coordinator of the undergraduate degrees in Management and Human Resources Management. During the conference, the lecturer presented three scientific papers covering distinct and current topics: the impact of short video marketing on consumer behaviour, leadership and innovation dynamics within organisations, and the relationship between environmental awareness, eco-anxiety, and sustainable purchase intention.
Participation in this international forum reinforces ISMT's commitment to scientific research and knowledge sharing within the Iberian region. The Faculty of Economy and Management at the University of Salamanca served as a platform for fostering collaboration networks between academics and professionals, strengthening the link between higher education and the practical challenges of modern management in a European context.
