Working meeting defines the continuity of academic internships and military psychology awareness initiatives

The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) held a working meeting with the Army's Classification and Selection Office in Coimbra. The primary objective of the meeting was to plan the collaboration between both institutions for the 2026/2027 academic year, ensuring the continuity of practical training opportunities for students.

During the session, the framework for academic internships was discussed, allowing ISMT students to develop technical and practical skills within this military structure. The partnership strengthens the institution's connection to the region's institutional network, promoting the professional integration of future graduates and postgraduates in shared areas of intervention.

The meeting also served to schedule the dissemination of Military Psychology activities within the academic community. This initiative aims to present the specificities of this field of work, with the participation of lecturer Ricardo Assunção and lecturer Inês Pereira, a former ISMT student, who shared their experience and the dynamics inherent to the roles performed within the Army.
