The agreement aims to enhance scientific and technical cooperation between higher education and the technological system.
The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) and CTCV – Technological Centre for Ceramics and Glass formalised, this Thursday, 5th March, the signing of an institutional collaboration protocol. The ceremony took place at the ISMT headquarters in Coimbra, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership intended to bridge the gap between the academic environment and the national scientific and technological system.
This agreement establishes the foundations for the development of joint initiatives of a scientific, technical, and educational nature. Among the primary objectives is the promotion of research projects and knowledge transfer, ensuring that ISMT's academic output and CTCV's technical expertise result in solutions with a direct impact on the economy and society.
The protocol also envisages collaboration in the fields of consultancy and vocational training. As CTCV is a body recognised for its laboratory competence and sectoral standardisation, this union will allow ISMT students and faculty closer contact with the innovation dynamics of the ceramics, glass, and habitat cluster sectors, reinforcing the practical and technological components of the education provided.
