Lecturer Ana Elisabete Ferreira Dias Pereira presented her post-doctoral research at the University of Coimbra’s Institute for Legal Research

On the 18th of December, the Institute for Legal Research at the University of Coimbra hosted the presentation of the post-doctoral work in Law by Ana Elisabete Ferreira Dias Pereira, a lecturer at the Miguel Torga Higher Institute (ISMT) and an integrated researcher at that unit.

The work presented by this institution's lecturer, titled “From Compassion to Recognition: The Social Function of Law and Community Integrity, within the Discursive Horizon of Capabilities”, addresses fundamental themes of contemporary legal philosophy. This academic achievement reaffirms the excellence and dedication to research that characterise the teaching staff at ISMT.
